SERVING
FAITHFUL PRESENCE IN OBERLIN
SERVING OBERLIN
Sparrow Church is a group of Christians who love Jesus and love our town.
Our desire, plan, and call is to serve Oberlin well.
As Sparrow grows, we’ll use this space to share opportunities for folks to become involved in that service, so please check back here.
Currently, Sam and Abbie Foster are serving Oberlin by opening their hearts and their home to their neighbors, hosting a house church and brunch on Sundays. Sam brings the Biblical message of God’s mercy and grace each week. You are invited to join us!
SERVING THROUGH HOSPITALITY
Sam and Abbie are also serving Oberlin by investing in the community as the owners and operators of Haven Brewing on S. Main Street.
Haven Brewing is the first micro-brewery in town, providing employment opportunities, a gathering place, food by Abbie, beer by Sam, non-alcoholic options, board games, and a family-friendly respite.
Haven is a commitment to Oberlin, a platform to build relationships and goodwill, and an opportunity to display the difference authentic Christian faith makes in the business place.
